Through Seed Business Consulting, the consulting arm of Wainwright Constructions, Paul now supports clients earlier in their journey – offering clear, practical building advice alongside the option of future construction or renovation works when the project is the right fit.

Early in his career, Paul was mentored by the late, award-winning architect John Baird, founder of Fairweather Homes. John’s design-and-build practice specialised in energy-efficient kit homes, with principles that were decades ahead of their time.

Many of John’s ideas – including passive heating through north-facing orientation, carefully designed verandas and pergolas, high levels of insulation and the use of renewable timbers – are now embedded in building legislation. Paul is proud to carry forward this legacy, applying these principles to contemporary homes that respond to today’s environmental and lifestyle needs.
